Protecteur Ex-Voto Intaglio Heart

This protective ex-voto intaglio heart is a small, symbolic object inspired by devotional keepsakes and cabinet-of-curiosity artifacts. At its centre is a pale intaglio heart, surrounded by hand-rolled papyrus scrolls and set against antiqued marbled paper.

The circular frame has an aged, gilt finish and includes the word Protecteur, referencing the tradition of ex-votos made as tokens of protection. The piece is mounted on a hand-turned wooden base, allowing it to stand upright on a shelf, desk, or bedside table.
