1880/1890s Antique Fishing Reels

Set of two antique fishing reels from the collection of Pierre Affre. 
- Wooden Nottingham reel for pike fishing 
- Small brass reel for trout fly fishing

Pierre Affre, an important Parisian collector of angling artefacts, taxidermy and entomology. He was also a very close friend of Jack Hemingway (Ernest's son), and holds the largest collection of Ernest Hemingway’s trout flies.
