Once a month, our Left Bank boutique transforms into the "Paris Writers & Readers Club", a creative candlelit haven after hours for writers and readers to share ideas, readings, and the simple joy of human connection over a glass of wine. For each salon, Nessy invites a special guest author to lead the salon with a reading and answer questions about their work, their process and experience as a writer. One of our members happened to be Éleonore, head of the storied shirtmaker founded in 1968. Figaret has dressed generations of Parisians in shirts that have become a wardrobe staple, and the unoffical uniform of countless writers; synonyms with timeless styles, tailored for life and cut by culture.

Over many cups of coffee we discovered how perfectly our worlds fit togethe. Out of that connection our capsule collection was born. Each piece realised in figaret's irreproachable quality and fit carries the "Paris Writers & Readers Club" emblem, a saulte to the kindred spirits who share our creative spark.

And yes, it is a real club...

Book clubs can be tricky to keep up with, I just wanted to open the doors to some good old fashioned human interaction; the kind of conversations we used to have.

And so every month, from my candlelit curiosity cabinet in the heart of the Latin Quarter, Anglophones and Parisphiles gather after hours for the Paris Writers & Readers Club, conjuring up the not-so-lost world of the Parisian salon.

You don’t have to be a writer, but if you’re working on something you’d like to share, you’ll find encouragement. If you’d rather just listen, reflect and sip wine, there’s a seat for you too.

Welcome to the Paris Writers & Readers Club, where words inspire, friendships endure, and every crease, every stitch, tells a story.
